J.P. McAleer, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. J.P. McAleer earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating near the top of his class. He subsequently completed his internship and residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he served as chief resident. Since entering private practice in 2006, Dr. McAleer has developed extensive experience in comprehensive foot and ankle care. He is a shareholder physician with Jefferson City Medical Group in Jefferson City, Missouri, and maintains hospital privileges at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. He has also served as Vice Chief of Staff at the JCMG Surgical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. McAleer has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and textbooks and has presented his research and surgical techniques on international platforms.
