John T. Treace
CEO, Founder, and Board Member
John T. Treace has over 25 years of experience in medical device marketing, sales, and general management. Mr. Treace founded our company in January 2014 and has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board of directors since our inception. Mr. Treace is the former Senior Vice President of US Sales and Global Marketing for Wright Medical Group, Inc., a medical device company, acquired by Stryker Corporation (NYSE: SYK) in November 2020. During a 12-year tenure with Wright, Mr. Treace served in a number of senior management roles including Vice President, Biologics and Extremities and Senior Director of Biologics Marketing. Before that, Mr. Treace held positions at Xomed Surgical Products, Inc., including as Director of Marketing and as Senior Product Manager, and with TreBay Medical Corp as Advertising & Marketing Director. Mr. Treace also served on the board of directors of ENTrigue Surgical, acquired by Arthrocare Corporation in July 2013. Mr. Treace holds a B.S. in Finance from Seattle University.

Mark L. Hair
Chief Financial Officer
Mark L. Hair has more than 25 years of financial experience including leadership roles at medical device companies. He has served as our Chief Financial Officer since September 2020. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Hair was Chief Financial Officer at Restoration Robotics, Inc.; Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Zeltiq Aesthetics, Inc., including through its acquisition by Allergan plc in April 2017; and Vice President and Corporate Controller at Thoratec Corporation, including through its acquisition by St. Jude Medical in October 2015. Mr. Hair was a partner at StoneTurn Group, LLP, a financial consulting boutique for 7 years; and at Deloitte, LLP for 9 years through 2004. Mr. Hair holds a B.S. in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.

Jaime A. Frias
Chief Business Development Officer
Jaime A. Frias, Esq. has over 30 years of business, legal and compliance experience primarily in the medical device market. Mr. Frias has served as our Chief Business Development Officer since October 2022, and before that as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer since March 2021 and as our Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer since July 2017. Mr. Frias also served as our Corporate Secretary from June 2017 through September 2022. He began his collaboration with the Company in 2014 as legal counsel and corporate secretary through his firm, Frias Legal PA. Mr. Frias is the former Vice President, Chief Legal Counsel for the Surgical Technologies division of Medtronic plc (NYSE: MDT). During a 15-year tenure with Medtronic he was responsible for all legal and compliance matters for the MDT Surgical Technologies division as well as for the MDT Latin America division, and played a key role in business development activity for the Surgical Technologies division. Prior to joining MDT, he served as in-house counsel for Xomed Surgical Products, Inc. from 1998 until the acquisition of Xomed by Medtronic in 1999. From 1991 to 1998, Mr. Frias was in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida with the firms of Mahoney, Adams & Criser PA (becoming a shareholder in 1996) and McGuireWoods LLP. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1991, he was an associate with the New York offices of Baker & McKenzie, focusing primarily on securities, mergers and acquisitions and international transactions, and participated in the Baker & McKenzie International Clerkship Program in New York during the summer of 1986 and Madrid, Spain during the summer of 1987. He received his JD from The University of Michigan Law School in 1988 and holds a Bachelor of Music with high honors from the University of Florida.

Daniel Owens
Chief Human Resources Officer
Daniel E. Owens is a globally-experienced human resources business leader with an extensive human resources background that spans several industries. Mr. Owens has served as our Chief Human Resources Officer since February 2021. Prior to joining our company , Mr. Owens was VP-Human Resources at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. He has also held human resources leadership roles at diverse companies including General Electric, NBC Universal, Hartford Life, Nomura Securities and Qurate Retail Group, with experience both the United States and in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Owens holds a BA in Economics from Michigan State University.

Julie Dewey
Chief Communications and Investor Relations Officer
Julie Dewey has more than 25 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications and marketing leadership roles at several medical technology companies. Ms. Dewey has served as our Chief Communications and Investor Relations Officer since July 2023. Prior to joining our company, Ms. Dewey was Chief Corporate Communications and IR Officer at Nevro Corp. Before joining Nevro, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer of Wright Medical Group, N.V., a leading orthopaedic company focused on extremities and biologics, which was acquired by Stryker. Earlier in her career, Ms. Dewey held investor relations and marketing positions at top medical technology companies including ev3 Inc. (acquired by Covidien), Kyphon Inc. (acquired by Medtronic) and Thoratec Corporation (acquired by St. Jude Medical/Abbott).
Ms. Dewey holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. Ms. Dewey is a Fellow of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), the professional association of corporate officers and investor relations consultants responsible for communication among corporate management, shareholders, securities analysts and other financial community constituents. Ms. Dewey also holds the Investor Relations Charter (IRC) credential.

Scot Elder
Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Corporate Secretary
Mr. Elder brings nearly 20 years of diverse global experience in the fields of Legal and Compliance to Treace. Mr. Elder has served as our Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Corporate Secretary since October 2022. Prior to that, Scot served as our SVP, Chief Compliance Officer since he joined Treace in October 2021.
Prior to joining Treace, Mr. Elder was the Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of Medtronic. He spent over 12 years in total at Medtronic in roles of progressively increasing responsibilities, including as VP, General Counsel for Medtronic’s Restorative Therapies group and as VP, Chief Counsel, Compliance & Privacy Officer for Medtronic’s Surgical Technologies business. In addition, he serves on the AdvaMed Executive Steering Committee.
Before joining Medtronic in 2009, Mr. Elder practiced commercial litigation and business transactions at Holland & Knight, LLP and was also Chief Litigation Officer for the St Joe Company.
Mr. Elder earned a B.A. in History from the University of Utah in 1998 and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law in 2002. He is fluent in Japanese, and also proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Aaron Berutti
Senior Vice President, Sales
Mr. Berutti brings nearly 20 years of business development and sales management experience to Treace. Most recently, Mr. Berutti was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Orthofix Orthopedics, U.S. & Canada. Prior to Orthofix, Mr. Berutti served as VP, Business Development for Cartiva, Inc. (acquired by Wright Medical Group). Before joining Cartiva, Mr. Berutti spent over 13 years at Wright Medical, where he served in sales leadership positions, including as Vice President, U.S. Sales for the Lower Extremity and Biologic business. Prior roles at Wright Medical included roles as Regional Vice President, U.S. Sales and Sr. Director, U.S. Sales & Marketing Operations.
Mr. Berutti holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and both Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Finance degrees from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.

Shana Zink
Senior Vice President, Clinical Affairs, Medical Education & Reimbursement
Ms. Zink has over 25 years of research experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device arena with the past 15 years focused on global Clinical Research in various therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, orthopedic surgery, bariatric, oncology and plastic surgery. From 2013-2018, Shana was Vice President of Clinical Affairs at AtriCure, Inc., an innovative leader in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. Prior to AtriCure, she held positions with a variety of responsibilities including Quality Assurance and Clinical Affairs at J&J, Proctor & Gamble and Searle Pharmaceuticals (a Monsanto Company). Ms. Zink holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University and obtained a certificate in Project Management from Boston University Corporate Education Center.

Sean F. Scanlan PhD
Chief Innovation Officer
Sean F. Scanlan, PhD has over 17 years of nash research and product development experience. Mr. Scanlan has served as our Chief Innovation Officer since January 2023 and before that as our Senior Vice President, Marketing & Medical Education since March 2021, after serving in various marketing roles of increasing responsibility since December 2014. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Scanlan spent 3 years in Research & Development at Smith & Nephew’s Advanced Surgical Devices division focused on product development and early-stage technology assessment. Before that, he led an interdisciplinary clinical research study at Stanford University with the Orthopaedic Surgery and Engineering departments, focusing on orthopaedic surgery and engineering, and served as a consultant for an early-stage orthopaedics start-up company, Moximed, Inc. Mr. Scanlan holds a B.S. in Engineering Science (Biomechanics) from the University of Florida, and an M.S. and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Biomechanical Engineering division) from Stanford University.

Nathan Minnich
Senior Vice President, Marketing
Nathan Minnich brings 20 years of experience, including significant senior management experience in the healthcare and medical device sectors, to Treace. Mr. Minnich has served as our Senior Vice President, Marketing since August 2023.
Prior to joining our company, Mr. Minnich was Vice President, Americas Marketing at Align Technology, Inc. Before joining Align, he spent five years as Vice President of Neuromodulation at LivaNova PLC. Earlier in his career, Mr. Minnich held several sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibility at UCB, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
Mr. Minnich holds a BS in Health Policy & Administration from the Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Centenary University.

Terry Lubben
Senior Vice President, Operations
Mr. Lubben brings over 30 years of diverse experience in Global Operations to Treace. Prior to joining Treace, he worked for Cantel Medical as Senior Vice President of Operations and Global Supply Chain. Before joining Cantel, Mr. Lubben was Vice President, Global Sourcing at Smiths Medical, Inc. Prior to Smiths medical, Mr. Lubben held roles of progressively increasing leadership responsibility in Supply Chain and Operations at Medtronic, Covidien, SuperDimension, The Toro Company and DLP Inc.
Mr. Lubben holds a BA in Business Administration from Calvin University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University.

Rachel Osbeck
Senior Vice President, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs
Mrs. Osbeck has over 16 years of quality management and regulatory compliance experience in the medical device market. She joined Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. in 2015 focusing on Quality Assurance, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining Treace, she served as Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance for Biomet’s Craniomaxifacial division based in Jacksonville, FL where she was employed since 2007. Prior to joining Biomet, Mrs. Osbeck was employed with Vital Pharma a West Palm Beach, FL company focused on sterile manufacturing of drugs and devices. Mrs. Osbeck holds a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Chemistry, graduating with honors from the University of Indianapolis. She maintains a Regulatory Affairs Certification from RAPS, is a Certified Biomedical Auditor and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence both issued by ASQ, and has completed ASQ’s Black Belt Training Program

Lisa O. Taylor
Deputy Chief Counsel, Assistant Corporate Secretary
Lisa O. Taylor, Esq. has over 30 years of experience providing legal counsel to publicly traded companies. She has served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel since November 2020. From 2016 to 2020, she was a partner with the law firm of McGuireWoods LLP, advising clients, including our company, on significant transactions, corporate governance, contract negotiation and securities law matters. From April 2014 to November 2015, she was Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at XPO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: XPO), and from January 2003 to March 2014, she served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Pacer International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PACR), a publicly-traded transportation and logistics company acquired by XPO in March 2014, where Ms.Taylor was responsible for handling public company reporting matters, managing and negotiating contracts, advising the board of directors, and addressing a range of legal issues. Prior to that, she was a partner and associate with McGuireWoods LLP and its predecessor firm in Jacksonville, Florida and served as corporate secretary and in-house counsel for an NYSE-traded consumer services company. She received her J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law and her M.B.A. from Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and holds a B.A. in English with honors from Wake Forest University.
